Co-commissioned by the National Street Arts Festival and South East Arts As the coffee bubbles and the cakes are sliced, a host of hidden worlds seethe, erupt and decay. Creating a café environment, five physical performers enact the customers' dreams, hopes and fantasies as they sip coffee, do lunch, read and chat. Romantic, lyrical, farcical or just plain pedestrian, peoples' private thoughts are engagingly uncovered through dance and gesture. This is the core vision of Percolator, a boldly choreographed piece, featuring stunning costumes as well as a vibrant original soundtrack. The piece contains no language and has been warmly received both nationally and internationally. A charged and uplifting piece of street theatre, Percolator is a must see production.
